Every section names the placement it came from, so you can check the work.
Positions come from astronomy-engine, an open implementation of the JPL planetary model, accurate to about one arcminute. Your birth place is resolved to coordinates and to its historical time zone, so a birth at 2am in a state that moved its clocks lands on the right instant in the sky. Numbers use the Pythagorean system, with 11, 22 and 33 left unreduced.
Where we cannot be accurate we say so. Without a birth time there is no Rising sign, and we tell you so on the page rather than making one up.
